Your Lake Nakuru day safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or residence in Nakuru between 7:00 – 8:30 AM. After a short drive, enter the park and begin your game drive during peak wildlife hours.
The park is famous for its large population of black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and diverse birdlife including flamingos and pelicans. Lions are also commonly spotted resting in the acacia trees.
At midday, enjoy a picnic break near Makalia Falls or opt for a buffet lunch at a lodge (optional). Continue with an afternoon game drive exploring more areas of the park before exiting.
